JUNIOR SHOWMANSHIP COMPETITION

NOVICE JUNIOR CLASS - For Boys and Girls at least 10 and under 14 years of age on the day of the show who at the time entries close, have not won three first places in a Novice Class at a licensed or member show.

- ATTENTION EXHIBITORS -

The show site will be available to exhibitors at 4:00 pm on July 10, 2003.

We enjoy our show site and want to be able to continue to use it for a long time. Please help by following these rules. The Kenai Kennel Club reserves the right to revoke camping/parking privileges.

There is no electricity available - DO NOT plug extension cords into the building.

There may not be water available.

Please clean up your parking/grooming area. Failure to do so may results in a fine or loss of parking privileges. DO NOT leave dog hair, sawdust, garbage, etc., behind. Keep your area clean.

Children must be kept under control.

No parking or driving on the show grounds except Judges, Superintendent, Show Committee & Vendors.



Handicapped parking is available, violators will be towed at their expense.

Shelters are for exhibitors immediately entering the rings. There will be no grooming or storing of dogs in the shelters. Dogs must be removed immediately after exhibition.

The grooming setups are allowed on the show grounds in designated areas.

A Recording Fee of .50 cents will be required for each dog entered at any Licensed or Member Club Show or Obedience Trial. This Recording Fee is to be collected by the show giving Club and paid to the (American Kennel Club Rule, Chapter 11, Section 2). If a dog is entered in more than one class in a show, the Recording Fee is to be collected on the first entry only

CANADIAN EXHIBITORS MUST SUBMIT ENTRIES WITH CHECKS DRAWN ON U.S. ACCOUNTS OR WITH INTERNATIONAL MONEY ORDERS IN U.S. FUNDS.

There will be no refund for duplicate entries.

Dogs need be present only for scheduled judging and will be released if not needed for further judging.

Dogs must be ready for judging. Neither the Club nor its Superintendents will be responsible or obligated to furnish any service for notifying exhibitors or their agents of Breed or Class Judging. Judges need not wait for any dog holding up a class. Owners or agents alone are responsible for the presence of their dogs in the judging rings.

The Clubs reserve the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value.

RETURNED CHECKS do not constitute a valid entry fee. The Superintendent will add a collection fee to the amount of each returned check. Subsequent returned checks from the same exhibitors may result in their being put on a CASH ONLY basis.

Entry fees will not be refunded in the event that a dog is absent, disqualified, excused by Veterinarian or Judge or barred from competition by action of the Show Committee.

No entry fees will be refunded if the Show cannot open or be completed by reason of riots, civil disturbances, fire, an Act of God, public emergency, act of a public enemy, strikes or any other cause beyond the control of the Club or the Superintendent.

The show giving Clubs, the Show Superintendent, their agents, employees, etc., assume no responsibility for any loss, damage or injury sustained by exhibitors, handlers, or to any of their dogs or property and further assumes no responsibility for injury to children.

No entry shall be made and no entry shall be accepted which specifies any condition as to its acceptance. Entries will not be accepted without fees or signatures.

Changes, additions or corrections to entry forms must be received in writing or by telegram prior to close of entries. Those received by telephone are not acceptable.
