SHOW SITE INFORMATION
**This is a fairly new site and we hope to continue using this facility for many years to come. Please help by keeping your area neat. Trash cans will be provided on the grounds, so please pickup after exercising your dogs.
**No dumping of gray water on Show Grounds.
**All Rules and Regulations of the Multi-Purpose Center will be clearly adhered to by Greater Hattiesburg, Meri-Miss Kennel Clubs, The Chihuahua Club of AL and the exhibitors.
The Show Committee reserves the right to rearrange crates, tables, etc., (if the need arises) to provide additional grooming space.
There will be no space provided for unentered dogs at these shows.
All trophies and prizes must be claimed the day of the show. None will be mailed.
Absolutely no washing dogs or cleaning dog food pans in the restrooms of the Multi Purpose Center.
NO SOFT-SIDED CRATES ALLOWED IN BUILDING.
NO SMOKING IN BUILDING.
No exercise pens allowed in building.
The Show Site will be available to exhibitors at 1:00 P.M. WEDNESDAY AFTERNOON, JUNE 25, 2003, WHEN THE SUPERINTENDENT HAS FINISHED SETTING THE RINGS. Dogs must be removed from building immediately following BEST IN SHOW on SUNDAY, JUNE 29, 2003.
Information Regarding RV Parking
There is a newly completed RV complex with 147 sites available for the convenience of the exhibitors. The cost is $20.00 per night. Most of the electrical outlets are 30 AMPS of power. MOTELS
All of these Motels accept dogs. However, please ensure that we may continue listing
these Motels by following a few common-sense rules. Keep dogs crated while in Motel room, pick up after your dog when exercising on Motel grounds and, under no circumstances, bathe your dogs in Motel room.. Exhibitors who break these rules or have complaints lodged against them by the Motel proprietors will have charges filed against them and will face a possible Show Committee Hearing.

Greater Hattiesburg & Meri-Miss Kennel Clubs reserves the right to force open a window/windows of any automobile or motor home if it is found that a dog (dogs) have been left unattended and are suffering from the heat or are in distress. The weather in Mississippi in June is quite warm. Best of Breed (Variety) Competition
The above classification is provided for all breeds (and varieties.) Additional divisions such as age, color or weight, are included in the breed list and must be indicated on the entry. The Breeds and Variety of Breeds that indicate Puppy Classes are divided, the division will be 6 months and under 9 months - 9 months & under 12 months - both sexes.
ATTENTION EXHIBITORS
A Recording Fee of .50 cents will be required for each dog entered at any Licensed or Member Club show or Obedience Trial. This Recording Fee is to be collected by the show giving Club and paid to the (American Kennel Club Rule, Chapter 11, Section 2). If a dog is entered in more than one class in a show, the Recording Fee is to be collected on the first entry only
CANADIAN EXHIBITORS MUST SUBMIT ENTRIES WITH CHECKS DRAWN ON U.S. ACCOUNTS OR WITH INTERNATIONAL MONEY ORDERS IN U.S. FUNDS.
There will be no refund for duplicate entries.
Dogs need be present only for scheduled judging and will be released if not needed for further judging.
Dogs must be ready for judging. Neither the Club nor its Superintendents will be responsible or obligated to furnish any service for notifying exhibitors or their agents of Breed or Class Judging. Judges need not wait for any dog holding up a class. Owners or agents alone are responsible for the presence of their dogs in the judging rings.
The Club reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value.
RETURNED CHECKS do not constitute a valid entry fee. The Superintendent will add a collection fee to the amount of each returned check. Subsequent returned checks from the same exhibitors may result in their being put on a CASH ONLY basis.
Entry fees will not be refunded in the event that a dog is absent, disqualified, excused by Veterinarian or Judge or barred from competition by action of the Show Committee.
No entry fees will be refunded if the Show cannot open or be completed by reason of riots, civil disturbances, fire, an Act of God, public emergency, act of a public enemy, strikes or any other cause beyond the control of the Club or the Superintendent.
The show giving Club, the Show Superintendent, their agents, employees, etc., assume no responsibility for any loss, damage or injury sustained by exhibitors, handlers, or to any of their dogs or property and further assumes no responsibility for injury to children.
No entry shall be made and no entry shall be accepted which specifies any condition as to its acceptance. Entries will not be accepted without fees or signatures.
No entry shall be refunded for Bitches that come in season after the closing date of these shows.
Changes, additions or corrections to entry forms must be received in writing or by telegram prior to close of entries. Those received by telephone are not acceptable.

JUNIOR SHOWMANSHIP COMPETITION
